Strap_mount_velocity_depth_sensor

Strap Mount Velocity/Depth Sensor

This type of sensor is used in open channels or pipes that run partially full. This sensor is used to measure depth (using a capacitive pressure diaphragm) and velocity. Access to the monitoring point is required for installation and maintenance. The sensor is first mounted on a polypropylene mounting plate and then installed within the pipe or channel..

Depth Sensor

This type of sensor is a depth only strap mount sensor that is typically used tomeasure the depth of a surcharge event in a sewer system manhole or depth over a weir or flume.

Material type: P.V.C.
Pipe sizes: 150mm (6") to 2000mm (79")
Dimensions: 125mm (5") L x 50mm (2") W x 16mm (0.62") H
Depth range: 4m (158"), 10m (394")

Strap_mount_velocity_sensor

Strap Mount (Velocity Only) Sensor

This sensor is used to measure velocity in full pipes when access to the pipe is available and the pipe can be emptied when installation or maintenance is required. It can also be used in situations where the user is measuring depth by a third party or ultrasonic sensor. The sensor is first mounted on a polypropylene mounting strap and then installed within the pipe.

Material type: P.V.C.
Pipe sizes: 150mm (6") to 2000mm (79")
Dimensions: 125mm (5") L x 50mm (2") W x 16mm (0.62") H

Insert_sensor

Insert Sensor (Velocity Only)

Insertion sensors require access to the outside wall of the pipe in which the sensor is to be mounted. These sensors can be installed through a 2 inch ball valve or just through a 2 inch female thread fitting.

Material type: Nickel plated Brass (standard), 316 Stainless Steel (optional)
Thread type: Either 2" BSP or 2" NPT
Pipe sizes: 100mm (4") to 2000mm (79")
Dimensions: 355mm (14") L x 45mm (1.8") dia. x 25mm (1") H

Open_Channel_flow_meter

The all new MACE Series 3 FloPro features MACE field proven Doppler velocity and level measurement sensors. Advanced spectrum signal processing allows the FloPro velocity sensors to produce superior results under a wide range of hydraulic operating conditions. Even when the pipe slope is unknown or under full pipe, in surcharge, or reverse flow conditions, the FloPro produces accurate, repeatable results every time. With the new Series 3 FloPro, up to five Doppler flow sensors can be monitored by the same instrument, making flow measurements even more flexible and affordable.

The Series 3 FloPro also comes equipped with a powerful array of standard sensor inputs and outputs, making monitoring of other water quality parameters a simple process. Whether you need to measure flow as well as conductivity, pH and rainfall or simply utilize a downward looking ultrasonic depth sensor, the FloPro is fully expandable to your needs.

The MACE Series 3 FloPro can also be fitted with one of several different telemetry interface options, to get your data back in the office when you need it.

The all new MACE Series3 FloPro is the total monitoring solution for both water quantity and water quality!

Agriflo_irrigation_flow_meter

Recognizing the ever-increasing need for better flow metering in the irrigation industry, MACE designed and tailor-made a meter purely for agricultural use. The MACE AgriFlo is the only flow meter of its kind on the market anywhere in the world.

The instrument is easy to install, easy to use and virtually maintenance free. Unlike conventional flow meters, AgriFlo has no moving parts and provides minimal obstruction to the flow. This means that the meter stays in service longer without time-consuming repairs.

The all-new AgriFlo Series 3 has been designed for functional field use by both irrigators and irrigation supply companies. A dual password system allows irrigator access to flow data, without compromising the integrity of the meter.

The AgriFlo case can be padlocked for added security. Unlike conventional flow meters, AgriFlo gives better than 2% accuracy, even at stream velocities of up to 8 metres per second!! Imagine a propeller meter lasting more than a few minutes at that speed!!
